This collection of images is from my current body of work started in 2023. The series, “Ode to Mingjun Kim:” illustrates my ongoing themes of the female, trauma, beauty, collective identity and counterstorytelling through visual means—the art has over 225 pieces. Here is a very brief sample of my work.

The series title, gives open and heartfelt thanks to the South Korean artist, Mingjun Kim, whose work and processes I found so moving. In a time people steal from artists without thinking twice and often without shame, I want to offer sincere thanks for Ms. Kim’s influence in my life and to my work. Thank you, Ms. Kim.

Pieces in the series range in price from $25 for a 6x6 inch artwork to $1,200 for special constructed pieces about 24 x 30 inches,though many of the works are less than $150 and affordable for either seasoned or new art collectors.
